TTC Poster Campaign

Designed a TTC subway poster campaign (Oct 2024–Jan 2025), translating marketing requests into visuals with QR integration. The campaign reached over 150M passenger impressions and generated an estimated 5K–10K QR scans, helping expand our startup’s user base beyond its initial 40K.

Role

Transfer Marketing Requests into Design

With only three days to design five different TTC posters, I first developed quick drafts based on Marketing’s script, then refined them according to their feedback and objectives. I successfully delivered all five posters on time, aligning with their requirements while maintaining visuals.

The reason why we use Shiba as the main character is that Shiba has become one of the most recognizable symbols in crypto culture through meme coins such as Dogecoin and Shiba Inu. By referencing this familiar visual language, the campaign instantly connects with crypto audiences while establishing a playful and memorable identity. At the same time, cryptocurrency is often perceived by the general public as complex, intimidating, or even associated with scams. Rather than relying on conventional financial imagery or overt promotional messaging, the campaign uses a friendly mascot to create a more approachable and trustworthy first impression, making the brand feel more accessible to people who are new to crypto.
